i honestly really really really want sam and dean to have a dog though because sO MANY OPPORTUNITIES FOR CUTE

• dean teaches the dog to howl along with his music
• sam goes running with the dog in the morning
• the boys fight over what to name him (cas gets veto power and offends dean by picking sam’s choice)
• dean grumbles about letting the dog sleep in bed with him but gets all offended when he doesn’t
• sam trains the dog to be the ~~most well behaved dog ever~~
• sam feeds the dog from the table while they’re eating (50% because he wants to, 50% because it annoys dean)
• cas strikes up a weird friendship with the dog (they’re pretty sure he can speak Dog but he refuses to confirm or deny)
